The current state of ICT in Irish education is a continuing cause for concern. Lack of funding and a policy lacuna has becalmed ICT in a stillwater of beached indifference.
These postings are an attempt to engender debate before the situation becomes terminal.
I am a retired Deputy Principal and Primary School Resource Teacher working with children who have Special Education Needs. I used assistive technology as a diagnostic tool and also as a resource to help children to overcome their difficulties.
